THE HOWEY CASE

Citrus derives their brand name from the landmark "Howey Case" in the Supreme Court in 1946. It's an interesting read but to sum it up, a local orange farmer was selling portions of his land to local investors to grow and market his product. The Howey Company had a rebellious mindset and thought different about WHO can invest and what investing means. Citrus does too.

Citrus believes that anyone can be an investor and that the best investments are made in great minds and great missions, rather than just numbers and trends. We built a logo and color palette that reflect the narrative of the brand and its vision.

SIMPLE MESSAGE

Citrus wasn't ready to fully express their brand but they needed to start telling their story and speaking to their audience. They asked us to craft a logo and color palette for the brand that could lay a foundation for future growth. We kept it simple for this purpose. As humans, we're constantly bombarded by ads and over-designed brand messages. It's often the simple that breaks through and stands out.

PROJECT OUTCOMES

We provided Citrus with a meaningful logo and color palette to lay a foundation for their brand in funding conversations and product interface prototyping.
